Ostrock and East German Music

Born in the GDR this sort of music encompasses techno which is a very big thing in East Germany because they pioneered it in the 1980s, Ostrock which was born in the 1970s and 80s when many members of the East German youth sang for peace, the bands included Karat and The Puhdys and Petra Zieger and the Smokings.

Jazzmin

From 2001 until 2007 I was habitually resident in Kassel, Wuppertal and Cologne in Germany.

These are the lovely pop numbers I came across there. Starting with Jazzmin the DJ and singer. Dance with me is a great 00s number there are several interesting ones.
